David Franco
Building on an international career spanning 20 years across law, risk and specialty insurance, I am driven by a passion to understand and uncover the drivers of societal change and resilience, advising Boards and Executives on how to navigate a shifting landscape and turn complexity into opportunity.

Over the last 20 years, I have lived and worked in Spain, United Kingdom, and Belgium, holding roles across Law, Academia, Risk Advisory, and Specialty Insurance. Throughout this time I have led teams and projects, and advised Boards and Senior Executives, on tax law, geopolitical risk, strategy, market intelligence, regulatory affairs, research and innovation, market development, and risk management.
I hold a BA and MA in Law with a major in Taxation, an MA in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy. I also hold a Diploma in Insurance and I am a graduate of the Lloyd's-Henley Business School Leadership Programme.
I speak five languages fluently and I love exploring other cultures. I have a passion for geopolitics, which sadly is a permanent feature of our international system, and I am a Lecturer of Geopolitical Risk in International Business at ESADE Law School in Barcelona, Spain.
